We are looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual; that will be responsible for undertaking complex processes that ensure material supply and vendor performance. This candidate will be responsible for characterizing the performance of materials, processes and technical supplier communications. They will make well-informed technically based decisions that are important to present and future products.



In this position the candidate will work in a team setting and need to organize and prioritize your responsibilities. This involves all existing part specifications, resolving raw material issues, supporting cost savings initiatives, improving efficiency through material and process improvement, reducing material cost, and improving the supplier base through monitoring and measurement as well as performing Supplier Audits on new and current vendors. Each Supplier Process Engineer on the Supplier Management team works in a coordinated effort to accomplish this, both performing individual tasks and cooperative group projects on complicated processes. They will also be responsible for maintaining Good Manufacturing/Laboratory Practices (GMP or GLP) and accurate, orderly paperwork in accordance with an FDA/ISO/USDA regulated quality system.

Job Requirements
Extensive Knowledge and Experience with:



· Leading/ participating in vendor audit programs (travel will be required).

· Monitoring vendor performance in the areas of quality, on time delivery, and corrective actions

· Evaluating vendor and Company initiated raw material changes and coordinates appropriate testing and validation as required.

· Creating and revising manufacturing documents, specifications, SOPs, safety instructions, validation protocols and procedures and other technical documents to ensure compliance and safety.

· Actively participating in teams as necessary to promote continuous improvement and lean initiatives.

· Suggesting and supporting new methods or materials for continual improvement in the quality or efficiency of a product or process.

· Working to reduce costs in all areas of manufacturing.

Education Requirements

The individual should have a minimum of 2 years performing Quality audits, Bachelor's degree on Engineering or other technical/scientific discipline, Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment, Minimum 2 year experience in quality or supplier engineering,

Experience working in a GMP or FDA regulated environment; 25% or more travel required
