Supply Chain Manager

Job Description
Gathers data and conducts analysis with the goal of improving the organization’s supply chain operations. Identifies underperforming areas in the supply chain and suggest improvements or resolutions to problems. Assist in the negotiation of supplier contracts or service arrangements. Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude expected.
Manages and oversees overall supply chain operations for assigned commodities, including purchasing and inventory of materials as well as selection of vendors. Makes recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations and decrease cost. Coordinates and resolves issues regarding existing and new products. Interacts with operations, sales, engineering, and NPI to ensure that all requirements are being met. Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
SKILLS:
· Excellent communication, team playing and negotiation skills
· ERP, Oracle or SAP preferred
· Excel
EXPERIENCE: 
· Demonstrated experience collaborating and working cross functionally with engineering teams and product teams. Experience working and partnering with global supplier management
· 7-10 years experience in the technology industry including procurement or supply chain management experience.
· Travel required.
