Job Description
Process sustaining Engineer in the Thin Films, CMP, Diffusion, Metalization, or Implantation area. Supports Production and Maintenance groups in a high volume manufacturing environment, using SPC and DOE methods to control processes and equipment. Provides all manufacturing engineering support required for new technology transfers. Lead Process Improvement efforts for area assigned. Initiate, evaluate, and implement cost reduction opportunities for the area. Become active on the Area SPC Team, driving process capability of the fleet to achieve site goals
Required Skills
Experience in Semiconductor Fabrication or similar coursework preferred. Process engineering support of a semiconductor manufacturing facility. Knowledge of Process Development, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Design of Experiments (DOE) Fundamentals are required. CMOS IC processing and basic CMOS transistor operation knowledge desired. Strong problem solving, technical, and communication skills a must.
