ACS, a single-source provider of fully integrated facility and equipment solutions, serving the international engine- and vehicle-testing markets is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our HR team. The talent acquisition specialist is responsible for all stages of the talent acquisition process, and is instrumental in the development of a best practice talent acquisition delivery function. The preferred candidate will have 5 to 15 years of talent acquisition and human resources experience in the engineering services industry with an undergraduate degree in Human Resources.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
•Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Organizational Development or related area
•Minimum 5 years of on the job experience, working in a human resources office in employment/talent acquisitioning role
•Experience working for an engineering company is a plus but not required
•AAP / Affirmative Action knowledge and experience a plus
•Familiarity with personal computers and common programs such as HRIS database systems (especially ICIMS, Vista), Internet job boards (Career Builder, Monster and LinkedIn), Word, Excel, email and online research as needed for job-related reasons
•Highly developed confidentiality skills and professional demeanor
•Ability to work as a committed and trusted team member
•Highly effective interpersonal skills
•Strong multi-tasking skills

Essential job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
•Lead the talent acquisition process by placing meetings with leadership to understand the needs for replacement of current positions and/or the addition of new positions and develop the overall plan for successfully obtaining talent
•Coordinate the placement of job positions, tracking expiration dates of postings, and where placed; reviewing resumes, managing recruiting system (ICIMS) database, processing resumes received and related tasks
•Ensure new job postings are posted on ACS’s Career page and that filled positions are removed
•Source, select and screen candidates to be evaluated by the hiring manager
•Conduct phone screen and ensure minimum competencies requirements are fulfilled by candidates
•Schedules interviews for candidates as needed
•Recommend, coordinate and participate in hiring events such as Job Fairs, external recruiting and other networking events
•Notify applicants when jobs are filled
•Leads employee onboarding process and orientation; assist managers in setting up orientation training agendas, provide initial HR orientation and training, and process new hire documents
•Assist in writing and updating job descriptions
•Coordinate photo-taking of new hires and ensure photos are posted in a timely fashion on the company Intranet
•Order business cards for employees; maintain accurate
•Prepare workstations for newly hired employees
•Handle background checks for site clearance
•Handle passport and travel visa applications and renewals
