Our DeWitt, Iowa facility which manufactures float and fabricated glass is currently searching for a Thin Films Process Engineer for our sputter coater department. Serious room for advancement from this role for the right individual interested in developing an outstanding career with an outstanding company! Daily responsibilities will include:
•Monitor and improve yields, quality, manufacturing machine uptime, etc. and identify trends for new and existing products.
•Conduct designed experiments to understand manufacturing processes and improve efficiencies.
•Carry out experiments to improve product quality.
Job Requirements :
An ideal candidate for this position will be an organized professional with excellent analytical and communication skills. Below are key requirements that are essential for success within the position:
•Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or Ceramics.
•1-4 years experience with sputtering film technologies and magnetron sputtering in a manufacturing setting.
•Experience with statistical methods and analysis.
•Ability to conduct design and process failure modes and effects analysis.
•Ability to take charge and lead with confidence; control events; communicate across multiple levels.
•Ability to clearly present and communicate ideas, concepts, and plans. |
