Description
SEGULA Technologies Inc. is a global leader in Automotive Engineering with 80 locations in 20 countries and 7000 engineers worldwide. The Greenville SC office is researching a contract Tooling & Injection Expert to support a world leader Tier1 Automotive system supplier in its field. Duration of contract is 12 to 16 months+. The position is to support product and process development with major OEM upcoming launches.
1- MISSION
• Provide technical support to the project team on the injection tool design
• Update Tooling and Injection standards at Division level
2-MAIN ACTIVITIES
• Cycle time+ injection molding clamp force definition
. Validate mold technical specifications with product line and tool purchasing support
. Define technical parameters in order to minimize investment costs.
. Validate tool and Injection concepts from Supplier
. Define and validate the shrinkage applied into the tool pre study until project start of production
. Provide technical support to project team from tool pre-study until Start of Production.
. Validate Injection system including moldflow analysis and gates Design.
. Ensure good communication with tool makers .
. Able to develop and improve the specifications and tool standards.
. Able to develop the technical specifications of the Injection systems and Design
Requirements
- B.S. Degree or 2/4 degree with significant experience in related field
- 5+ Years minimum in Automotive Injection Molded Plastics
- Experience with Large injection molding parts (Interior or exterior parts).
- good communication skills in order to support global programs and resources. |
