| Job Description | The purpose of this position is to coordinate Aviall’s daily activities regarding Foreign Trade Compliance (Import & Export), including the Aviall International Trade/Restricted Party Screening Program. The Trade Compliance Specialist will provide day-to-day management as the liaison between the Trade Compliance Program and Aviall’s Material Transportation Department employees including their respective managers and directors.
The Specialist will provide day-to-day expertise and knowledge necessary for the development, implementation, and management of Aviall’s Trade Compliance Programs. This includes administering Aviall’s policies & procedures to ensure compliance with US government regulations. As permitted by the Compliance Manager, the Specialist will also have the authority to make binding decisions for the company as they relate to trade procedures, i.e. U.S. export/import laws, and regulations. The position shall be given decision-making power with regards to Import related activities.
Job Requirements Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in legal, business, or technical field of study or 6 years specific job related experience in lieu of degree
Experience:
3-5 years Export experience with emphasis on ITAR and EAR compliance; Import experience with emphasis on Domestic and Foreign Import/Export Customs regulations and HTS/ECCN product classification.
