Our Small Fleet Underwriter will do the following:
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Quotes and binds applications for agents. Reviews correspondence and endorsements for acceptability and rate. Provides service to our customers.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Makes changes to existing business.
2. Provides customer service to agents and others.
3. Quotes and binds applications for agents.
SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES:
•Provides quotes and binds applications for agents.
•Reviews correspondence received from agent and insured and determines acceptability to reinstate. Responds to agent or insured if necessary.
•Reviews endorsements for acceptability and processes change.
•Processes state and federal filings.
•Cancels policies per the insured request.
•Answers incoming telephone calls from agents. Provides quotes and processes telephone endorsements for agents.
•Reviews last name user list and processes manual cancellations. |
