Become a member of Acadia's underwriting department and have a direct impact on helping our customers and helping us reach our strategic goals. As an Underwriter, you'll build relationships and work closely with independent agents. You will be responsible for evaluating, selecting and pricing small commercial property and casualty accounts in Connecticut.
Our ideal candidate will be flexible, have an entrepreneurial spirit and thrive in a team environment. Excellent customer service and organizational skills, strong PC skills with experience in Microsoft Windows and Office applications, excellent oral and written communication skills and analytical ability are required. A bachelor’s degree and at least five years of experience in all lines of commercial property and casualty underwriting are required.
