Key Responsibilities:

Develop,implement and monitor the sales strategy,business plans and policies and procedures to maximize revenue growth Prepare and administer the annual Sales budget. Modify plans and adjust forecasts Define,set and monitor sales quotas,targets,goals and revenue requirements for the sales regions,units and teams Respect and promote Nexans Principles of Corp Social Responsibility, and Nexans Code of Ethics and Business Conduct Analyze and evaluate sales reports and financial statements regularly. Prepare and submit reports to the Exec. Team Oversee all Sales activities and operations to ensure that they are within budget Determine staffing requirements for the Sales Dept including inside Reps, Product Mgmt,and Reg.Sales Mgrs Set individual performance goals & objectives for the Sales Dept staff,conduct annual performance reviews Recruit, train,and supervise field agents. Set target sales and marketing goals, monitor and report on progress.

Coach and mentor Sales staff on various sales methods, techniques and best practices to motivate and encourage.

Maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth business operations Develop and manage relationships with key customers, agencies and media Build and maintain effective relationships with existing customers and various key decision makers from external organizations Provide information on product and service offering to enhance awareness and build business and cross-selling opportunities Prior and future experience / relationships with Aircraft manufacturers and distributers required.

Remain current on market, consumer and competitor conditions and new developments within the industry Monitor historical information and trends to gain insight Perform regular industry, market, consumer, competitor;and profitability analysis and revise strategies and plans accordingly Lead business development activities and leverage opportunities to increase consumer awareness and income generation.

Drive,sponsor,champion and lead strategic change initiatives.

Consult with Executives on major organizational design, development,restructuring and sales initiatives Maintain currency in the profession through various activities Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.

Education and Exp.: A Bachelor's degree in Business,Marketing or a related Technical field,or equivalent.A relevant Master's degree/MBA is preferred.10 or more yrs of responsible experience in a Sales role, with a minimum of 5 yrs in a Sr Mgmt role is preferred Previous experience in strategy development, budget mgmt and experience in networking and building on an existing contact base is also required Proven success in developing new business and exceeding sales targets and quotas, as well as coaching and developing a Sales team is strongly preferred.Wire Industry experience is preferred.
