The Vice President of Product Development and Quality Assurance is responsible for the development and implementation of new processes and products, development of reporting, analytics and quality assurance programs to assess execution of new processes and products.

Essential Functions:

Work in conjunction with the CBDO in identifying, developing, implementing and auditing strategic service offerings.
Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements based on company strategies and objectives.
Interact with clients and client facing teams in gathering the requirements and promoting the products.
Work in conjunction with the CBDO to develop and manage multi-year product road maps by soliciting input from sales and operations.
Work closely with operations and marketing to deliver products; maintain deep understanding of competitive offerings and market requirements.
Work with the CBDO to manage internal and external resources through launch and post-launch product improvements.
Audit all service offerings for quality, efficiency and effectiveness in keeping with company objectives for sales, operations and finance.
Direct/Perform quality control and/or quality assurance activities on assigned jobs, tracking requests for changes/updates through completion.
Ensure that quality reviews, corrections and/or updates align with defined turn-around times and client's needs.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
Perform audits to include desk reviews and field appraisals and assess compliance with company procedures.
Plan, execute, and document audit assignments.
Review existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and potential weaknesses that may result in inaccurate processing and reporting.
Identify process improvements and recommend coaching strategies to Management Team.
Works in conjunction with Regional Managers and Marketing Managers regarding performance, efficiency, reporting and quality.
Prepare and maintain an accurate audit process for files to support audit findings.
Establish effective internal control procedures.
Analyze and manipulate large volumes of data, preparing reports to be shared with the Management Team.
Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree from four-year college and a minimum of four years of related experience and/or training; insurance industry experience preferred; leadership experience required, auditing experience preferred; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software; Internet software; Contact Management systems and a working knowledge of accepted industry estimating platforms.
