| Job Description | We are looking for a candidate who has experience in making electronics devices, such as thin film transistors, MEMS, FET, etc. The candidate will provide hands-on work in development of new processes aiming at transferring to a manufacturing line. A successful candidate should have 2 or more years of experience in a cleanroom environment processing devices and good knowledge of photolithography. Experience in thin film sputter deposition and device testing is also desirable. This individual will assist fellow senior engineers, scientists and program managers by running experiments, processing devices and conducting thin film transistor device tests. This individual will also organize and report on the findings, communicate within the company and interface with external customers.
The position will require some travel to Asia to manufacturing locations to help with implementation of the process transfer to manufacturing lines.
Qualifications:
•Preferred degrees include but are not limited to Applied Physics, Material Science or Electrical Engineering. Undergraduate or Master’s degree is a must.
•Must have 2 or more years of cleanroom processing experience.
•Must have working experience in a cleanroom environment and knows & follows safety protocol.
•Familiarity with MS Office (Power-Point, EXCEL) a must; AutoCAD and Visual Basic programming skills a plus.
•Fluency in both English & Japanese is also important.
Responsibilities:
•Assist Engineers and Project Managers in designing & running experiments and tests.
•Assist engineering in writing, reporting, and communication of the results within the company.
•Ability to communicate and interface with our manufacturing partners in Asia.
•Positive attitude with strong motivation to improve; a quick learner.
•Must be able to multitask and stay organized.
•Accurately follows written and verbal instructions for daily activity.
