The Motorists Insurance Group seeks an experienced Workers’ Compensation Risk Management Consultant to join our Risk Management team. This position will provide workers’ compensation risk management and loss control services to The Motorists Insurance Group’s accounts.
Responsibilities:
Develop workers’ compensation risk selection or risk improvement strategies
Identify, assess and make recommendations regarding workers compensation deficiencies
Monitor emerging trends in the workers’ compensation loss control arena
Develop and present training programs
Conduct field surveys and assessments of individual accounts
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of workers’ compensation risk management or loss control experience
At least three years field experience servicing varies classes of business (preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in loss control, engineering, industrial hygiene, occupational safety or other related field
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation (preferred)
Thorough and comprehensive understanding of workers’ compensation loss control techniques and concepts
Aware of emerging trends and developments with the workers’’ compensation loss control
profession
