The Role
The Worksite Valuation Actuary is responsible for reserving, financial reporting support, and support for Worksite product line Risk Management.

Responsibilities
Reporting ·
Completes and/or reviews all monthly/quarterly Worksite Valuation Reserving and reporting processes for Worksite products ·
Supports Finance by providing information and exhibits needed for financial reporting ·
Meets all deadlines and provides accurate information consistent with Stat, GAAP, and other professional requirements and standards ·
Develops and implements reserving and reporting for new product development initiatives · Assists in the preparation of operational and risk management metric reports for analysis and presentations to management

Process Improvement ·
Introduces improvements and efficiencies where possible in the reserving/reporting processes · Implements any needed reserving and reporting changes related to claim, administration or accounting system changes ·
Adds value by introducing improvements and efficiencies to the reporting and analysis process Relationship Management ·
Communicates effectively with others to develop and deliver helpful information ·
Influence at all levels of management through clear, informed and logical discussions/presentations ·
Develop creative and collaborative approaches to driving client-focused solutions which also benefit the company’s top and bottom lines ·
Collaborate among senior management, colleagues and peers, and influence outcomes without directing or commanding Reserving ·
Completes periodic reserve studies and reserve assumption updates for all products.
This includes regular (quarterly) reserve adequacy reviews as well as less frequent reserve analysis studies · Supports SarbOx compliance and periodic internal and external audits

Requirements

Education · Undergraduate Degree or 4+ years of comparable work experience; education concentration in Actuarial Sciences is preferred, ·
