The Companion Diagnostic Center of Excellence is a cross-functional team dedicated to supporting the development and integration of companion diagnostics at Johnson & Johnson across all therapeutic areas. As part of this team, the World Wide Product Manager is responsible for the planning and execution of key diagnostic platform assets critical to the company's companion diagnostics efforts. This job entails defining the product vision, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, lifecycle management, and working closely with engineering, sales, Therapeutic Area marketing/support and any external diagnostic partners to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager's job also includes product support of the Companion Diagnostics Center of Excellence and each respective Therapeutics Area's overall strategy and goals. Initial focus will be in the Molecular Diagnostics area, but may evolve to include immunological point-of-care platforms as well.

The World Wide Product Manager will assist in the development of the overall product and diagnostic platform strategy and ownership of execution of the strategy. Driving business results related to product and diagnostic platform commercialization. Align market message with associated therapeutic when applicable. Assess and implement innovative diagnostic market delivery models and distribution channels. Provide strategic marketing input to aid in development and any revisions to the Target Product Profiles (TPPs); monitor Voice of Customer (VoC) and the marketplace during product development cycle to determine impact of changes. Partner with development teams to ensure customer needs are translated appropriately into the Market Requirement Documents (MRDs) and Product Requirement Documents (PRDs). Develop and implement peer-to-peer activities to increase awareness and adoption of product. Survey and update on the competitive environment. Partner with Companion Diagnostics COE, local operating companies , Therapeutic Area team members and diagnostic partners (if relevant) to ensure launch readiness and market access. Develop sales aids, advertising, promotional programs, and meeting/conference strategies. Develop and manage budgets to ensure successful product launches with rapid uptake. Manage sales forecasting and coordinate with supply chain to ensure availability of product




Qualifications

Minimum of 6-8 years experience in relevant marketing and/or training positions is required. Must have demonstrated success defining and launching innovative diagnostics products or services. More than 8 years of experience in the healthcare market is preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills is required. Bachelor's degree in life sciences or other related field is required. (MBA preferred). Technical background, with experience in Molecular and/or Immunological Diagnostics is preferred. Excellent teamwork skills are a must. Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority is required. International experience is required. Must be able to travel 20% of the time.
